Weather is like our emotions it changes every single day
When you are sad it is like rain
When you are happy it is like sunshine
When you are grumpy it is like fog
When you are angry it is like thunder

Compassion


Turn the pages - read the lines
Understand the suffering imposed
Feel compassion for those worse off
A deep awareness with added sympathy
Wanting to do something godly
But being powerless to start
Mortal limitations hamper action
Mother Nature is a cruel dictator
The wisdom of her years seems harsh
Her laws many times are broken
But fundamentally can’t be changed
Just have to flow with the tide for now
Hoping for a sea of change one day to appear

Happiness will live.

Happiness conjures up magic
in a world where countless souls feel it's warmth
positive vibrations resound around the globe
bringing laughter where there was grief
producing smiles where only sadness grew
a life enters it cries first then smiles
instinct handed down through the millennia
a gift the ability to smile
this world is passing a painful phase
deaths by man and nature like
above the strife you can plainly see
Happiness will forever be!

There is a tunnel
through time and space
that connects my heart to you,
it's twists and turns forming many knots
on it's passage between the two.
The road is short it may be long
but unbroken the link will remain,
for whatever life throws at you
I shall forever be at your side
helping you to absorb the pain.
True friendships are the ones that last
showing all that this tunnel shall never collapse.

I'm not sure if I've ever actually posted here before. If I have it's been quite a while... But I'll make up for it by posting something really looooong. 'Tis a song I made up in the shower (as you do) and happened to remember. It's actually much less terrible with the tune (think angry jazz) but ah well...

Many hills

Many friends have hills to climb
unaided most of the time
distance between us is a curse
that talismans can not dispel
physical strength have I none
to shoulder them with their task
through temporal zones my power flows
completely invisible to all mankind
but around my friends this aura glows
for them to know they are not alone
although I sit for hours on end
I am with them upon that hill
when the crest they ultimately will achieve
the sun shall shine forth so bright
past memories will fade having never existed

Me again... So I made up another song in the shower today and decided to share... But I only remember 4 lines. Here we go...

I've never been enchanted by the sunrise.
My spirits have never been lifted by the laughter of a child.
I've never sighed at the site of a blooming flower.
But I see you and somehow I'm enchanted by your crooked smile.

Last line should be "I'm a captive of your crooked smile"
