Whose!! never clean shaven, we've only got three pieces of flint.
NEVER any food in the house!!,
you've still got a leg of your mother left.
Talk about nag, nag, nag.
I hope your species die out,
then I can go down the pub, with the lads.
If there is such a thing.
Look! its late, you don't know what your talking about,
turn the light off and go back to sleep.

She walks, with the grace of a gazelle.

Her caress as warm as a summer night.
Her form designed by the will of the Gods.
To hold her, the greatest triumph of them all.
To find her, is every mans dream, and countless
carry on the search.

Man always attacks "tomorrow",
when all "tomorrow" wants to do, is become today.
So! why not wait for its coming, in friendship.
If you need to find god,
look no further than the planet earth.

ACT 4 SCENE 6

Someone once said, all the world is a stage and we are mearly the actors.
Well!! somewhere in the play I've fallen into the musicians pit.
Still, I might get out in time to see the last act.
Hoping that the trombone player, doesn't need to play for a while.
Life is a bit of a downer realy, we are born to die!! then someone
will say "never mind, the future might be better".
Do they know of imortality, are they that confident, that I have the time to boil an egg.
On the strength of it, I've set the timer on the video for 6 programs 1 year ahead.
I've also bought 12,000 last years calenders, cheap!!.
The reality of time travel and I can make some money,
to build a saftey net over that bloody pit.
I'm not daft enough to fall for it twice.
I will not need the operation to remove the trombone then!.
Why am I in this play??, never saw the script, just been adlibing.
Wonder if I should have said 'ouch' when I fell into the pit.
But I'm gonna save myself falling in,
so who cares anyway.....not me.

Most nights, I dream of the perfect world.
Where all 'man' speaks the same language
and the word 'weapon' does not exist.
Where the enemy is not on this earth we walk,
but on a far planet, in our imagination.
Will the human race ever realise Startrek.
Or will 'man only retain greed and hate,
as his contribution to the future.

Can I borrow your muse sometime? I want to conduct insane little experiments on it.

Is it or not.

It was between July and August, but then it moved.
At one point it was last year, nobody said anything,
because they don't know about it.
In fact, I don't know anything either.
It was just something to do, so don't ask me why I've wrote it.
If you know what it is, then tell me?, or it will keep me
in the dark, its all very secretive.
But it wont fool you, will it, you'll suss it out.
If it turns out to be nonsense, then we'll be non the wiser,
and nowhere nearer it.
Yet if it isn't, will it be broken, then it will be of no use.
It might be better to leave it alone.
Its a pity, I thought of it in the first place.

No bets taken.

I lie, contemplating the atoms of the universe,
concluding that tomorrow is as far away as yesterday
and the past is nearer than the future.
For the window of life is clouded over.
Man unable to see that time is a glimpse into nothing.
Forfitting the right to inherit the earth.
Destiny only holds oblivion, his soul left him, the day of his birth.
Will he clean the window, or leave his only legacy! dust!!.
The answer is only hours away.

To touch a void.

A short ride, away from the city noise.
To stand alone, eyes to the night sky.
Can't put down a foot, without someone owning the earth beneath my feet.
Even the air I breath, has been used.
Looking at the ultimate void around us,
to touch a piece of it and say Mine!,
before any other living creature.
Don't believe in heaven, but would accept a lift out there!.
One of those dots of light, calling me,"land on me, you'll be the first".
My thoughts reach out to the vastness, one day, I will go and collect them.
They are ageless and will wait.
Only I can claim them,
so keep your land, I am already rich.
For I have touched the void.

Animal, have you ever thought of writing for hootoo's very own newspaper? They are always looking for poems, talk to Smudger, he does stuff for it. I used to write a weekly column "the Hootoo Home of Today"; may do some more stuff once my Beast is a bit more reliable.
