My fix was different from all of those below. Browse to the registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

There should be a key there called Public. Mine was missing. If it's missing, right click and choose New > Expandable String Value. Name it Public. Then double click on it and set the value to %SystemDrive%\Users\Public.

NOW! I can't delete the naffing icon off me desktop

rebooted PC and adobe icon now gone (from desktop)

Tuesday/Wednesday, my printer program froze up when wanting to scan something had to reboot the pc each time. Removed program and then spent over 1 hour trying to get bloody windows 7 to reload it Finally got it installed and the printer running ok

So what's your Plan B for listening to music? Do you have vinyl or CDs, and something to play them on? Or even a radio? I know that you like music....

I'm listening to the Celtic station right now. It's not actually in Ireland, but rather in Connecticut. The Chinese station is located in Silicon Valley. However, the Greek, Moroccan, and Argentinian stations are in those countries.
