Cumin and sample my mulled ale and mulled wine, cakes, biscuits and breads flavoured with caraway. Later on there will be curry dishes to sample, sometimes I get caraway-ed when I am adding spices to my dishes. I got a birthday card-a-mon from my mother who lives in Currie (Curry) in Edinburgh where she curries favour with the local hobnobs.

I was listening to my neighbour tell me a long tail on how he got in a stew making oxtail stew with dump-lings as he let the pot on stove boil over. The de-tails of his story were quite funny and he said he gets his best recipes from finding discarded recipe books on a local dump.
