Hail, hoopy froods and other forms of life.

'Tis I, John Q. Public of the Order of Obscure Anonymity, Purveyor of Useless Facts and Sundry Assorted Minutiae. But hey, call me Jack.

I've read and loved the Hitchhiker's Guide series of books since early high school, so as soon as someone gave me a heads-up about H2G2 I figured I'd have to hightail it on over here and see about becoming a Guide writer. And here I be.

Right now this page is boring. Maybe it will develop into interesting later, like the box of leftover take-away chicken teriyaki that you leave in the back of the fridge for months on end, until at last you summon the courage to peek in and it smiles back at you in a fuzzy green way. We'll have to see.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
