Welcome to my space. Sorry it's not very exciting - I'm not much of a 
and don't have much of a clue about livening it up. I could go and find the instructions, I know they're out there, but I keep procrastinating.
I also know there's a society out there for procrastinators and I've been meaning to join, but...well, you know.
So, I'm Deb and I live in the West Midlands, UK. I think of myself as around middle-aged but as I'm unlikely to live to be 116 I suspect that's no longer true 
Until May 2024 I have a dull office job which I loved but thanks to the company going into administration I was made redundant. Luckily I found another dull office job I seem to be enjoying, only now the office is my dining room and I no longer drive 40 miles a day so I consider it a big win 
I mainly just 
here cos I'm not much of a writer, but you gotta have readers, right?
Some things I always love: My niece and my two nephews; DNA's books, of course; Terry Pratchett; Pride and Prejudice; Amanda and the 11 Million Mile High Dancer; Calvin and Hobbes; Truly, Madly, Deeply; Amelie; Maltesers

Some things I love at the moment but may change my mind about at any time: books by Heide Goody and Iain Grant; Handmaid's Tale.
Some things I hate: rudeness and bad manners; textspeak anywhere other than in a text message; check-out people putting the change on top of the notes; TV close-ups of people crying; celery
