boston also has a second football club called boston town fc.
also the new "princess royal sports arena" and facilities aimed to be used for training athletes for the 2012 olympics and paralympics, although there has been some controversy over disabled facilities compared to the original plans.
the grenwich meridian passes within a mile or so of boston.
boston is famous for locking up the pilgrim fathers. it cost them a lot of money and about a year and a half of time to finally escape.
it was also one of the top three ports in england back in the 1600's, exporting wool. it became much less significant as ships became bigger with a deeper draft.
it was one of the biggest growers of "woad", which was used to dye wool, and the faces of the ancient british.
lincolnshire's travel infrastructure basically ends south of the humber bridge and west of the A1, much to the economic detriment of the county.
Also in lincolnshire is the spalding flower parade, where the local growers show off their crops.
there is also an annual lincolnshire agricultural show at the lincolnshire showground near lincoln.
