The Siege of Galyana

True. When are we going to start fighting again or are we just waiting for UDL to say or do something?

Can't we just take it as decked?. We're going to spend ages doing all sorts of ludicrus attacks at this rate. Shall we elect someone to finish it off?
The Siege of Galyana
Wargamer (The Wanderer) Posted Mar 17, 2003
Oh fine, I'll end this!
*The UDL reels from Ribalds blow, his perfect white feathers (another Sephiroth rip off) blacken and burn as he is consumed with eldritch fire. He snarles at the warband, and manages one final curse.*
[UDL] You have not seen the last of me... Though my mortal vessel me destroyed... my soul will exist beyond this realm... I shall come for you from Oblivion!!!
*And with that, the UDL was consumed by fire, and defeated.*
[Ma Chao] Hey... we won... YES!!!
*Ma Chao collapses unconcious. *

::Furr Purrfikt looks at Baileywick and gives his best Cheshire Cat .::
[Furr] It sseems we've sseen the lasst of that sscurrvy dog. Henchman, it's time to celebrrate!
[Baileywick] Oh, ye mean as in "now that us HEROES 'ave vanquished the demonic FOE, it's time fer all'er 'Enchmen to cater to our ev'ry whim by bringin' us lots o' food'n'drink", is that it, m'Lord?!
[Furr] Tessty, arren't yeou? Look all Ai want is a ssmall libation to sslake maiy thirrst; that's not too much to assk, is it?
[Baileywick] (rummages through his pack, pours a white liquid into a low-rimmed container, then sets it down before Furr) A li'l bowl of cream fer yer worship?
[Furr] (starts toward Baileywick with paws clenched, then thinks better of it and stoops to pick up the saucer) Thankss... (he laps at it, suddenly halts in bewilderment, and shoots a wicked glance at the Henchman) What IS thiss sstuff?
[Baileywick] (jiggles a round brown jug in his extended hand, labeled 'Baileywick's Irish Cream') More here if'n ye like... (he grins wickedly at the panthroid and they both break loose in laughter)
[Dragon] (between mouthfuls of lightly toasted Legionnaire corpses) {{Comedians they're not. Wouldn't last one set during Amateur Night...}}

*Somewhere, far away from Galyana, Evilwick walked, clutching a piece of Materia in his hands.*
[Evilwick] Hades... yes... you have power indeed. That power will destroy any whoi try to use it, but there are ways... yes... there are ways...
*Evilwick stumbles across an ancient tomb. He enters, and places the Materia deep within it. As he leaves, he encounters a travveling adventuror.*
[Evilwick] Hmm... Would you seek the treasures within here?
[Hero] Indeed. What do you know of this place?
[Evilwick] Only that it contains power beyond your wildest dreams... What is your name, brave Hero?
[Hero] Damien.
[Evilwick] Indeed? Well, good luck, Damien. And may your future be filled with Power...
*With those words, Evilwick left. Damien entered the tomb, and his fate was sealed...*

*The Senators greet the heroes at the Plaza of Heroes, a place comemorating the founding of Galyana from the Barbarian Lands. A fitting place to hail its latest saviors.
The Senators present each hero with a medallion, and a large financial reward.*
[Senator] Galyana owes you so much, heroes. What more can we offer you as thanks?
*Ma Chao rubs his eyes.*
[Ma Chao] How about a hotel room?
*His reply gets some laughter.*
[Ma Chao] And transport. I'd like to head home...
[Senator] Of course. We will provide you with a place to stay, and free travel home. Have a safe journey.
Now, what of the rest of you?

[Eric]I would like the use of a mule, for I need to take Gossan-Coombe back to our tribes burial grounds. I need the money put into an account in a secure bank here. Oh, and I would like an upgrade for my crossbow. This one I carry is rather heavy, old, sagging string etc. And some Ice bolts would not go ammis either...

[Senator] These... Most of these can be taken care of. Ribald, I believe your first request may be possible... the second is not.
