[Eric]#Sigh#, is this our last battle before we can finally go back and get some kip

::Furr once again rushes to Baileywick and starts wrenching things from his pack, tossing sundry items over his shoulder as he searches.::

[Furr] Where is that thing?! Ai know Ai had yeou tuck it in with all thiss otherr sstuff...!

[Baileywick] Pardon-- >yank< --m'lord, but-- >jerk< --might I ask-- >wobble< --what it is yer-- >clang< --lookin' fer?

[Furr] Jusst hold sstill a moment longerr, Ai think Ai have ffound it!

::He wrestles a good-sized blade out from the midst of the pack, slicing neatly through a number of other items in the mess and shearing several binding straps. Everything tumbles to the ground around his feline feet, inculding an ornate shield emblazoned with bright blue accents around three golden triangles in the form of a larger triangle. Furr deftly scoops up the shield, slings it, then cuts the air in quick shimmering arcs with the sword. Its handle is deep blue and the same triangle-upon-triangle pattern is set with precious stones at the juncture of the blade and the haft.::

[Furr] Now Ai am ready!

[Baileywick] May the Tri-Force be wi' ye!

::Baileywick gathers all the paraphernalia together in a heap, then deftly assembles it back into a bound pack in a matter of seconds.::

[Baileywick] Helps to study one's craft, it does.

[Dragon] {{Helps to have opposable thumbs, too.}} (scowls the winged lizard)

[Eric]#to dark lords second form# We've taken you down once already and we'll take you down again!

[Ribald] Great ... so ...

[[Omega Slash]]

[Ribald leaps up and does an incomprehensible series of slashes at the Last Boss before jumping down again.]

#Eric fires his crossbow into the bosses eye#

*The Boss raises his hand, and casts [[Wall]] before Ribald or Eric can strike, massively decreasing the damage caused.*
[Ma Chao] This guys a total Sephiroth rip off! Anyone got Dispel?

[Sparky] Dispel, no I don't think so. *casts [Trine]*

[Eric]Well I certanly don't. It sounds like we're in trouble is nobody does though

*The Dark Lord looks smug as Trine has barely no effect. He casualy casts [[Meteor]], determined to crush the warriors.*
[Ma Chao] Woah! *Jumps up to escape the worst of the spell.*

#Eric takes a sizeable ammount of dammage#

[Eric]I must be neer my limit break now!

[Ribald] Well you'd better get at it quick!

[Lampwick] Let's see ... Do we need a Megalixer yet?

*Sparky casts [Flamethrower]*

*Ma Chao is hit by a yellow beam, which strips his HP to 1.*
[Ma Chao] Urgh... yeah, I think so... Hang on... TRANCE!!!
[Ultimate Dark Lord] Hey! You can't Trance Twice!!
[Ma Chao] Does Sephiroth know you're ripping him off?
[UDL] ... Okay, you can Trance.

#Eric summons Titan and therefore Ultra Quakes the ultimate dark lord#

[UDL] Ha! Bad luck! My Wall-
*[[Wall]] wears off just as Ultraquake hits.*
[UDL] Aargh! Take this! [[Bolt Also!]]
[Trance Ma Chao] Let's crank it up! [[Blue-Eyes White Dragon Lightning!!]]
[UDL] What? Are we playing Yu-Gi-Oh now or something?
[TMC] No, just ripping it off.
[UDL] Okay... Argh!!!

[Eric]Well thats my MP gone. Back to using physical attacks for a while
#Eric draws sword and goes in for anougher physical attack

[Lampwick tosses Eric a Turbo-Ether]

[Lampwick] Thought it'd be useful if I had it on-hand ...

[Ribald] I've got another Brightsword tech I'd like to use, but it requires an extremely long post.

[Lampwick] Oh boy.

[[Twilight Emerald Devastation]]

[Ribald glares fiercely at Ultimate Dark Lord ... His lips curl upwards in a snarl, and a green, eldritch glow begins to surround his longsword. This is the end of their toils in this adventure, but the way this is going, the battle might be only beginning.]

[Ribald] You've caused far too much suffering ... Now it's payback time!

[He meets the Dark Lord's eye as the glow now completly surrounds the sword, and increases in intensity. Ribald takes a single step back, before dashing forwards, taking a running leap, and swinging the blade at the Dark Lord. Then the green takes on a brighter hue, shining painfully bright, as Ribald swings the sword again and again in a series of wide arcs, each leaving a trail of fire in the air. He raises the sword one last time ...]

[Ribald] GO TO HELL, AND TAKE MO -- uh, I mean, YOUR DARK FORCES WITH YOU!!

[Then he slams the sword downwards at UDL, shattering the screen momentarily i.e. KotR.]

Is that it?

You know how these Bad Guys are, Aries. Think of Kahn in Star Trek's "Wrath of Kahn" movie. "From Hell's pit I spit my last curse at you...", etc. I have this feeling we gotta smack him around a bit more.
