I like!
hrm...
Thoroughbred
The Royal hope
Her highness' dream
Old and new
Race for the Queen
Oval hooves flying
Unusual speed
Great lungs trying
Heaving with need
Break from the gate
Run! jockeys plead
Ending in glory
Defeat to succeed!

Mustang
Maybe from 13 to 16 hands tall,
Understand these horses are wild that’s all,
Some palomino, appaloosa or red,
Then there are buckskins and blacks
All mostly have wildly been bred.
Never decry the American horse,
G Dubbya Shrub, you can of course.

LOL... I liked that one too.. The last line was pure genius
Fallabella
Fun loving
And
Little
Laughingly cute
All correct
But
Extra minute
Lovely
Little

Akhal-Teke
A figure of bad conformation
King of strong determination
Hardy as he's ugly to see
And highly likely to disagree
Low and mean and tempered bad
-
Truly hard to tame, this lad
Ekes a living from bare ground
Know's he's hard to push around
Even though this may be true, his coat gleams bright with metallic hue.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a horsey trainspotter...

Try these:
Dartmoor
Fell
New Forest
Orlov Trotter (go on, I know you like a challenge!)
Cleveland Bay
Windsor Grey (queen's horses are windsor greys... Highly endangered breed!)

OK - I accept the challenge.
Orlov Trotter
Once - between seventeen seventy five and seventeen eighty four,
Russians bred horses of a different kind, to improve what had been there before.
Lovingly taking the best of each breed, Arabian, Mecklenburg, Danish and Dutch,
On the birth of Bars I, the breed went on to do much much,
Voroezh’s region, and the Bityug flood plain pasture,
The horses developed rapidly as Khrenov’s stud took acture.
Reduction in pure breeding stock affects the rate of birth,
Only 16 mare and just twelve sires – of lines there is a derth.
The Orlov’s conformation, an elegant Arab head and 2 sire lines and 16 mare
The body is solid and portly, the legs strong – ideal for a trek.
Easy natured, powerful and strong, the breed now must be protected
Really this horse must continue along or I, for one, will be dejected.

Hahaha! I take it Google or wiki came in handy there?
Lippizaner
Levade and Capriole,
Inherent elegance
Piaffe and passage
Performed for audience
In the Spanish Riding School
Zurich to london they tour, but
Always best to see them in their native hall
Noble beasts of high-born blood
Every day their art improved
Rider and steed paired to aim for perfection.

Any rules against that, especially as my knowledge of the beasts is tht they have four legs, bite at one end and kick at the other.
Qatganis
Quiet as you ride through the Hindu Kush,
As the horse knows the way,
There’s no need for you to do much.
Good tempered and nimble,
Agile and strong,
Nothing upsets them – nothing goes wrong,
Independent of mind, steady and loyal,
Such breed belongs to the Afghan royal.

Going on a date
Getting ready, building up
Over and over, what do I wear?
In-depth consideration
Nice underwear? Or go bare?
Going all the way tonight?
Or only to first base?
Need I take a toothbrush?
After all it's our third date...
Do I put my hair up?
And what perfume should I spray?
To-ing and fr-oing cant decide
Either bloody way!

Back to horses!!
Dartmoor
Deep in the depths of the desolate moor,
Are ponies of ancient strain,
Run the Saxons, the horse of the poor,
These ponies persist and remain.
Meeting the needs of the miners of tin,
Of farmers - the pack-horse of choice,
Only they can resist the harsh winter and win
Relax, watch them run and rejoice.

Connemara (the beautiful grey pony of ireland)
Caught, frozen, nose to the wind
Open nostrils snort and twitch
Noting each passing scent on the breeze
Now cantering easily, a white shadow gainst the
Emerald grass.
Movements gracefull, smooth and sure
Arcing well over wall and fallen tree
Racing his playmates down to the pond
And resting again, the pride of Ireland.

Brumby (australian wild horse)
Barren land her home
Resources rare and sparse
Unable to give up the fight
Mare and foal will search
Below the ground for water
You would be surprised!

So - back to an easy one
Fell
Feisty ponies on Lakeland slopes,
Eat very poor grass and don’t need oats,
Live in the rough with the wind and the rain,
Don’t fell the cold, put up with the pain.

Oooh! Fell worked well! I want to see your brumby one. Y's are hard to use! that's why I've avoided other breeds like the Gypsy Vanner and stuff like that
Trakhener
Tractable and energetic
Riding horse, well bred
Always adds an acrobatic
Kick and flair.
Highly regarded with talent to spare
Excellent bloodlines
No faults to repair
Enduring good qualities
Reknowned! they declare.

Brumby (version 2)
Baroomby –the Abo for wild of course,
Referring to horses let loose in the wild,
Unleashed by the man who brought Aussie the horse
Mankind’s influence on nature compiled,
Brumby – the man - showed little remorse,
‘Your problem, not mine’ and just smiled.

Hahaha!!!!
Dutch Warmblood
Dominating in the ring
Untiring in the trot with spring
Touching down for barely a moment
Canters on with strong, flowing movement
Horses of this noble type
Wont be worried by the hype
Arresting in their strength and skill
Rousing piaffe and cantering while still
Moving on to a gentle walk
Bold and long, an athlete's stalk
Loose and limber, fit and hard
Optimum strength, a shining facade
Only a type, a breed standard's not set
Dressage their forte, but it's early days yet!
