A Conversation for Cannabis

I basically agree with most of those opinions. I started smoking at like 13, and you know, I really didn't like it. I avoided it as much as possible. And then I turned 17 and started my affair with marijuana. I think Marijuana is going to leave his wife soon to marry me.
Hehehe.
I think potheads are great people to hang out with. If they do turn out to be nastards then they should go smoke crack and get off the pot. As long as they aren't near me, I'm fine.
Also the pot does make you think differently on planes different if not higher philosophical intelligence. (Liguor is a different story)
Anywho, The recipes sound like a good idea. I shall go check it out.

Please do Imaldris, and any recipes you can offer will be muchly appreciated.
By the way, I really like the word "nastards" was that a typo (looking at his keyboard he realises it prolly was)
.. but its cool, like a truncation of "nasty bastards"
Sorry, Im terribly happy today, go to my page to see why.

Time to update. I haven't really smoked a weed for the best past of a month and guess what? I've started dreaming again, which is nice. How those other folks who responded to my earlier conversation can dream on the stuff is anyone's guess. My plan for the new year is to treat this wonderful drug with care and to smoke much much less frequently. We'll see.

Patch, great to hear you are dreaming again!
I have been asking people about dreams and weed and the answer I have received from everyone was that, if anything pot increased dreaming and dream depth.
Personally, I have been n a mini binge during my hols and I have had truly intense dreams, both bad and good -- including one truly magical one the other night where an evil and disturbing character from one of my dreams turned up in an almost identical dream of one of the friends I was smoking with.
A question, when you smoked regularly, how much did you take, because your dream loss could be related to amount . ..

Right on, Patch.
I work at sea (where I can't smoke) and dream all the time when I'm away. Can't wait to get home again and rid myself of the torment.
After 32 years of heavy toking the social effects don't bother me at all. I socialise with like minds. Stuff the rest.

has it really been 14 weeks since i last visited this marvellous forum?
i don't think that weed is bad for your social skills - in fact it seems to encourage people to (enormous cliche ahoy) be themselves - be who they want to be not how others perceive them etc. i maintain that it's primarily a social thing - almost like hanging about in the pub but cooler. hehehehe (somehow typping the giggles doesn't have quite the same effect) hehehehehe it's the thought that counts eh.

But ok. anywho cannibis is still wonderful, although at the moment I have no money and have sunken into becoming a weed crony.

what a wonderful term : Favoritism shown to old friends without regard for their qualifications, as in political appointments to office. This is very appropriate because, kids, weed is your friend; a very kind, wise old friend (whose only shortcoming is eating you out of house and home)...

I couldnt agree more. The debate is not if dope should be legalised, but in a society so based on alcohol can we really sustain the hypocricy. Lest we all suddenly realise and collapse Luaghing. We wouldnt believe how ridiculous the social construct we created to bring order, is. If spliff was legal people would smoke more and drink less. Drink less = less profits for some pretty large and serious corporate entities. It's a conspiracy involving the alcohl lobby. or maybe i'm just paranoid

Beeblefish Posted Apr 28, 2000
My friend's dog is named Indy -- Short for Cannibis Indica (But hten again, they own Chills Canada, a company that manufactures Bongs and Rolling Papers -- so there is no huge surprise there )

Hand of Bod, ACE Posted Apr 28, 2000
we haven't quite got as far as naming things after weed - related things yet, but i recall a discussion not so long ago on how we might react should we be attacked by ninjas (a la the presdient's* "lump" video) while we were out for a quiet smoke...

Of course, if it wasn't for Cannabis, many inner-city 24-hour garages would go out of business! They rely on a steady stream of people handing over £5 notes and asking "how many bags of Quavers will this buy?"
