Well being an english man i like the odd swift pint every now and then but also being a seafarer i have had a wide range of watering holes to wet my whistle in , one in articular is the "stubby shack" in a small mining town called weipa on the north seaboard edge of the northern teritory Australia! well this place has got 4 stone pillars at each corner of the pub and those are "the" walls the 4 pillars hold up a roof made off gorrigated iron, the verall floor space of the pub is about 20 square metres with a bar on one side of the pub which is made of solid teak and there are no beer taps just a walk in fridge out back which is kept chilled by an old diesel generator which runs 24 hours a day. The view does it because you have the pacific ocean looking at you and then u turn around to the south and you can see the salt pans leading into the interior of Australia the place on a friday night is heaving, if you get a chance go
