How long can these Researchers talk in the third person?
MuseSusan Posted Jun 9, 2004
That's "Reaper Man", and Muse has been trying to find a library that has it for ages now, because she can't seem to find it in bookstores. Muse is dying to read it!

Blackberry Cat , if one wishes to remain an individual in the midst of the teeming multitudes, one must make oneself grotesque Posted Jun 9, 2004
Do U.S. libraries do inter-library loans?

Cat-Eyes: No..... why.... ? Posted Jun 9, 2004
Cat says her fav discworld book is Night Watch but likes most of them. Her family owns all of them, so she's read all of them, except the new one. Cat also tells all these Pratchett fans to go to Pratchetts Annonymous at A640360!!!!
Cat also laughs her head off at Joe complaining about 30degrees.

Lizzbett Posted Jun 9, 2004
Lizzbett has not read any Terry Prachett, but he's on her list! She is STILL ploughing through War and Peace and hopes to finish it one day!
Lizzbett rather likes the warm weather we have been enjoying in England of late and hopes to have a whole summer of it, like we did last year

Joe thought the hot summer last year was nice at first. It then became horrible. It was too hot.

BC thinks 20 degrees centigrade is the max temp he should have to tolerate.

Khamsin whole heartedly agrees with BC
Khamsin hopes it will be cooler in scotland

Mystical Angel aka l'ange mystique - Patron Saint Of Silly Pole Dancers And Queen of the Space-Hopper! Posted Jun 9, 2004
Mystical Angel looks around in amazement, realises that she has read the first and last page, and wonders if there were any lapses in between. Then Mystical Angel wonders if she can keep this up. Mystical Angel really doesnt think that she could write a guide entry talking about Mystical Angel constantly, as she finds having to keep typing Mystical Angel quite frustrating

AK - fancy that! Posted Jun 9, 2004
AK is completely confused by other complaining about 30 degrees, until he realizes that you people in England, wisely choose to use metric instead of our terrible system.

MuseSusan Posted Jun 9, 2004
Now Muse is a little embarrassed, because she had been thinking of 30 degrees in Farenheit as well, and now she realizes that 30 Centigrade is about 86 Farenheit, which is quite nice.

Scandrea Posted Jun 9, 2004
Scandrea wishes it was 86 today. Instead it was about 60 and had sort of a misty rain going on up in the mountains. Scandrea thinks she spent most of the day inside a cloud.
Scandrea is so happy to have dry clothes now!

The Luggage (7 + 5 + 4) * 2 + 2 * 5 = 42 Posted Jun 9, 2004
The Luggage had class today in an un-airconditioned room. The extreme heat gave The Luggage a headache.
How long can these Researchers talk in the third person?
Scandrea Posted Jun 9, 2004
Scandrea feels bad for The Luggage, and advises her (?) to drink lots of water. Headaches are a sign of dehydration, and if The Luggage has been that warm for that long, The Luggage could be getting dehydrated.

Danielle's mind kind of tuned out while reading all of this, and she is too asleep to bother reading it again, so she plans to stay confused.
Danielle doesn't really think that thinking 30 degrees is too hot to be funny, she doesn't like 30 degrees either. Danielle prefers cold weather to hot.

U218534 Posted Jun 10, 2004
Joe prefers nice, moderately warm weather to either hot or cold, although cold does mean Joe gets to hug Danielle a lot to keep her warm, and so he also likes cold weather

Mystical Angel aka l'ange mystique - Patron Saint Of Silly Pole Dancers And Queen of the Space-Hopper! Posted Jun 10, 2004
Mystical Angel suddenly realises that everyone in this thread is ever so slightly nuts, and so heads for the door quietly hoping no-one notices her.
Then Mystical Angel realises nobody ever notices her anyway, so stops tippy toeing and runs frantically....

Joe notices Mystical Angel leaving, and asks why she is a Researcher if she is not ever so slightly nuts? He is slightly confused by this behaviour...
