how can we measure "male perfection"?
Gnomon - time to move on Posted Mar 13, 2001
During the Interregnum, Kaeori solved this problem: the unit of Male Perfection. It was a very interesting solution. I'll leave it to K to post the solution here. I'm sure you'll all be suitably impressed.

...which gives me a moment to lash in a bit of rudeness...
How do we measure male perfection?
Root to tip, of course

Hi Gnomon.
I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who has discovered something in the meantime (I've discovered no less than the meaning of life for me, but it's rather personal, so I don't bother others with it).
I've discovered some strange and frightening things, as did Orcus, who must be around here somewhere too. Maybe Orcus and I should publish our findings.
I'm dying to know at last what Kaeori's findings are, although in the light of recent discoveries, male perfection seems a bit irrelevant.

I personally think Hercules is completely out. He had nothing but strength. Let´s find someone who could also fix the kitchen sink, instead of just sinking a thousand ships.
Sho: do you find a guy with brains to be a good thing? The people with brains I know, none of those seem to be getting any girls on that. And no, they´re not complete nerds, I just mean when they get girls it´s not for that. To me it seems girls just claim intelligence matters, none of them really think so.

Hellooooooo!
any one ever seen Highlander?
Either of the two actors who played highlander (Christophe Lambert and Adrian Paul [i think]) or Peter Wing something or other who played Methos. Or The late great Werner Stocker who played Darius. These guys will do me as a measure of male perfection.
I think the real definition though is
"any one who rings your bell"

Does that mean Little Richard and his ding-a-ling then?
Did anyone suggest a Pitt (as in Brad) most girls I've known swoon for him.

We should wait for Kaeori's revelation!
Orcus and I will certainly have something to add, after our (rather embarassing ) discoveries.
(Darn! I just cut off my hair and now Highlander gets mentioned! Bad timing!)

I think brains are important in combination with a face that it isn't painful to look at and a heavenly bod. And so far I've only found my (current bit of tv letch) Daniel Jackson from Stargate. Without the face & the bod brains don't even come into it.

Yo Sho! You're back!
And still raving about Daniel Jackson! (I can relate to it, honestly, but it's not up to me to decide.)
"Kaeori"s Revelation" (it's starting to sound a bit over the top) had better be good! Where IS our favourite cappuccino-lover anyway?

I have one thing to say to you all and one thing only ..... Johnny Depp.
I rest my case.
By the way - if you haven't seen the wonderful film 'Chocolat' - go see. It will improve your life
Oh - that was 2 things ... never mind ...

Daniel Jackson is fine, but he's a bit inhibited. Although it's by now a cliché it is most important for a man to have genuine humour. Apart from intellectual wit, which, is of course, taken for granted.
If a bloke can really laugh out loud and lose any inhibitions doing so, just think how uninhibited he'll be elsewhere......
... like when he's mending the drain, fixing the wiring, rescuing the dog from the cesspit.....

Yes - I'm back! I've been hanging out (sad git that I am) on a Stargate fourm endlessly discussing the blue eyed archeologist of my dreams. Sigh!
I have, however, come to the conclusion (which I believe I already posted here aeons ago) that there is no such thing and that it (male perfection) can be measured in nano-nano-metres and we don't need to discuss it anymore.
Of course, I'm eager to find the solution that came up when I couldn't get the hang of the Yahoo thing.......

The record for simul-posting stands at 3! Some things seem indeed to have improved!
Hello TC! Did you have a stroke of bad luck at home (drain, wiring, cesspit, etc.)? I get your point. Maybe your wisdom will make the one-guy-fanatics see reason.
