Any appetite for this to continue after all these years? The roll call is all U-numbers now...
Happy to shut down and lose in mists of time if not. Thought I'd ask first.

I believe there is wit still surviving here, if you can revamp and relaunch A722053 I would support it

I didn't know the Wilde Awards even existed. We used to have Quote of the Day, but that seems to have died down.
As far as wordplay is concerned, we have a pun thread and a word association threads. There are various threads for short stories, including 42-word ones, and those threads are hard to keep going because so few people participate.

It's a fine idea, but, as Paul says, it was supplanted by QotD for a while. Even that has died through lack of activity, unfortunately.
