One checks for exits primarily to be sure one doesn't have one's back to them.
I can remember, once upon a time in an 'elite' Hollywood circle being given whale blubber to eat, back in an age when it was still legal, which was described as a 'delicacy'.
It was rancid.
These days, if I were to see 'dolphin oil' or 'porpoise oil' in food labelling, I'd report them.
