Would it be possible to steal them in a virtual heist? Would that be a real crime or a virtual one?

Hackers who steal people's passwords so that they can raid their bank accounts or credit cards are invariably charged with real crimes.

Diamonds are pure carbon. But carbon, while an element, is not a metal. This means diamonds are hard and can't be worked. You have to cut bits of them.

I thought of carbon too, unusual on the point that it does occur in pure form in nature, but despite being a weak conducter of electricity, about 5% the efficiency of silver, it is neither malleable (cannot be hammered into form) nor ductile (cannot be drawn or rolled into wire) is not a metal and is classified a metalloid or non-metal.

Come to think of, carbon is the least malleable and least ductile chemical element in creation.
