Jimmy Saville are you surprised?

Have just seen Freddie Starr denying allegations. He's looking really old.
His fiancee was sitting next to him. Blimey, she looks young.

I once found myself cycling being a ferrari in Southampton. It had F Starr as its number plate.
What a different image!

Freddie Starr was denying allegations before I had even heard that he'd been accused of anything.

We were all shocked at the reports "Freddie Starr ate my hamster"
Maybe we should have been asking how old it was?

I get the feeling that unless some sort of amnesty is called, we'll be locking up half the celebrities who ever worked in the past.

The more I listen to the broadcast news media, and read the newspapers (which is less and less nowadays), the more it seems to me, that there is less and less relevant "news", less and less critical analysis or even analysis of any kind. The media are supposed to play a critical role in a democracy, a critical role in a free-market ... where theories assume that the public are well informed and knowledgeable.
The interweb and twittersphere just make the matter worse, but it could be so much better in theory. Maybe Homo Sap isn't so evolved after all.

Wow, once again the Daily Mail just show their blind hypocrisy:

Elle Fanning...14years old...
And this:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2226463/Freddie-Starr-arrested-claim-molested-girl-Jimmy-Saviles-BBC-dressing-room.html
"He denies claims by Karin Ward that he tried to grope her in 1974 when she was a 14-year-old schoolgirl.
Indeed, he was just feeling her womanly curves...

Or maybe we should be asking whether 'hamster' is euphemism for something...

Maybe Freddie was trying to show he wasn't jewish or muslim.

What I'm getting is how scattershot the inquiries are likely to be..especially in the media and online.
How many will be basely accused by the media and online I wonder and have to sue to clear their name?

Which ones? It might allow us to gauge how far we can go with comments...or do we just have to take a guess as usual on what might be breaching guidelines when posts are hidden?
If we were told or guided or would save the mods a lot of work as we would self-censor more...we are a good at doing that if we know where the line is.
Thanks.

Moderator007, may I just say what a wonderful name you have. I now have the Bond theme for an earworm.
