Hi people,
This thread is to ask you to support the Spanish judge Baltasar Garzón
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/apr/07/baltasar-garzon-trial-franco-disappearances
“”The British human rights lawyer Geoffrey Robertson QC has declared his support for a judge who has earned a global reputation for his use of international human rights law against the former military regimes that ruled parts of South America.
"It is ironic that one of Spain's few internationally renowned jurists – as well as an incredibly brave investigating judge who has risked his life with the mafia, with Basque group Eta and with al-Qaida – is now having his reputation put at risk," Robertson said.””

I´m deeply concerned with this. For me , supporting him and attending the demostration that will be held soon , means a very serious civic duty.
I feel nausea at the idea that those fascists use the democratic institutions to undermine them, to laugth at the Franco´s victims, to wipe out a man that represents the most noble ideals of justice.
I can´t stand the idea of that fascist group named Manos Limpias /Clean Hands having the last laugth. It´s a extremely painful sarcasm.
I´ve thought of the International Brigadists whose presence in Spain gave so much moral support to anti-fascists Spaniards during the Spanish Civil War. I think that the presence of foreing names in that facebook supporting group can work the same again.
Heartfelt thanks to all in advance.

certainly agree with it but as a non facebooker I can't really join up.
But I had noticed it earlier on the web, sounds decidedly dubious.
