It's understandable that someone who has been through the emotional turmoil of a near-death experience, or who has lost close friends might feel this way about this game.
I'm sorry, guess. I hope you're feeling fitter and enjoying h2g2. This game is of course seen by some as being in bad taste - I'm not entirely comfortable with it, myself - but if you subscribe to the listed and unlisted deaths threads, you'll see that many of us play this in order to remember people's lives, and regret their passing. Sadly, death comes to all of us one day.

I don't believe guess has issues with our Deathlist Game or with the rest of us. Any issues appear to be personal with Mu Beta. If you two want to meet in the playground, let us know where and when. I'll be there selling tickets 
I need the 
My mum died earlier this year, 8 March. I quietly grieved and got on with keeping the Deathlist pages updated when I felt I was able to. In September, I grieved again when I had to have my 15 1/2 year old dog put down. I doubt if any of our lives are perfect and carefree throughout the year. Guess does not have the monopolly on that.

I don't play this game through malice, if anything it is the opposite. My metaphor would be betting on England to lose at football. If England win I'm happy but if they lose I make a little money to sweeten the blow. Other people's picks and the posts in the unofficial thread allow me to read about some amazing lives that I wouldn't otherwise hear about.

Unfortunately, Fluffy won't get any 'unique choice' bonus points for including me on her deathlist. I'm already on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's and Ayatolla Khamenei's. General Thein Sein of Myanmar would probably be happy to see my demise too.
