Please advise! Problems with my flatmates

No, maybe we should. He uses a lot of (mixed) egg metaphors . yesterday he said we "Shouldn't try to nail unlaid eggs to his knee" whatever *that* may mean.

And now he'S sending us orders (Really - he calls tehm that himself) about which way to curl the hose round when hanging up the shower head.

Just because he's giving orders doesn't mean you have to follow them, or even pay attention to him when he's overstepped his boundaries. How about organizing a peaceful mutiny, everyone just totally ignore him when he's being an idiot? Or just say "yes, dear" in a patronizing manner and carry on with whatever you're doing. That way it would be kinda like having a pesty echo in the place, but wouldn't need to disrupt your life.

That'S basically what we are doing - ignoring him, and his orders, and his emails, and not actively provoking him.

if hes not there get rid of his stuff and lock him out, i do not think you have any other options left. if everyone else chips in put his stuff in storage or even sell it then change the locks.

oh, could you get him arrested for harrasment? if you kept the emails and notes he left or recorded everything he says you may be able to get a restraining order on him. i know its drastic but he seems like a real problem.

That may be an option, yes - he is harrassing us.

then you should build on that, find all the abuse he has sent you and see what you can do with it. if you say that you are scared he will hurt you or the other flatmates then hopefully he will be removed. (of course this is all theory and im making it up as i go along, seeing as i have never had to do this but it may work)

There once was an eggman named Stefan
Who acted as though he were seven
but one day I'm sure,
he'll be more mature
And act like a lad of eleven
