Malabarista - now with added pony Posted Mar 31, 2009
I prefer horses to cars, and don't see the point of ogling people who are doing nothing but standing around looking sexy.

This thread has reminded me of.....
Why do men prefer pretty girls to clever ones?
Because men see better than they think.

Plus we have two organs requiring a strong blood supply and only have the capacity to run one at a time.

Well, reading the wikipedia article, it was certainly commissioned as porn.
I'm surprised Robert Mapplethorpe's not come up in this thread in the context of flowers as visual metaphor.

Well I was going to mention Mapplethorpe...but not just his flowers. Unfortunately his photos involving bullwhips have been deemed NSFW by the local IT monkeys. Pah! Political correctness gone mad.
>>Isn't it about the line between objectifying and celebrating?
The problem is, though (and I think you'll agree with this, B) is where and how the line is drawn? *Can* it be drawn? And if not - why bother trying?
On 'objectification'...I *kinda* see what you're saying...but it seems to me a rather loose term. I'm reminded of a couplet from Canada's premier stand-up comedian:
'You handled me like meat.
You'd have to be a man to know how good that feels, how sweet.'

Ben's asterisks, I can understand. We're not allowed to combine them with the letter C. But what was even potentially naughty about my Degas Post?
Ah well. Time will tell.

first post removed, 84 was mine, but I´ve missed the others
I linked something less explicit than other previous links I´ve seen here.
I wonder why...

Yeah...but my links were Art. You can tell. They were painted by dead guys and are hung in big galleries.

Well, I'd read those posts before they were hidden and, although I can't recall what was in them, nothing struck me as being 'untoward' when I read them

>>men look at breasts
That is true, I'm afraid.
Like...say we're sitting on a beach. Half of our brain will be saying:
'Now all these breasts are quite natural. Their owners are not directing a sexual signal towards me, simply enjoying the fresh air and the warmth of the sun on their bare skin in a completely wholesome, natural and innocent way. Nothing to get agitated about at all.'
Wheras the other half will be saying:
'KLANG-A KLANG-A KLANG-A KLANG!!!!'

I saw a T-shirt on a woman and when I got close enough to read the tiny letters--
"Talk to the Face"
Key: Complain about this post
