And cars! Once I had four people and a long weekend's camping gear in and on Citroen Saxo. I'm good!

We've managed it with five plus camping gear in a VW Golf (Rabbit over there, I think...)
Unfortunately, we were all adults at the time, so simply sticking the sleeping bags under our feet like we did when we were kids made for rather cramped calves by the time we arrived in Zealand.

ah, we have Golfs too
With the help of my mum, we managed four of us in a Metro with a roofrack for a week in scotland, camping wild
trick: Unroll a couple of the sleeping bags and put them across the back seats as well

Showing up late, as ever...
I've got Tetris on my mobile, too. And I'm pretty good at packing suitcases, grocery bags, etc. In fact, when we're at the grocery store my better half usually hums the Tetris theme while I bag.
I'm not a real hard-core gamer, and the last console I owned prior to my PS2 was a Sega Genesis. But we've only got a 22" PC monitor, and the TV is 32", so I've gotten into console gaming a bit.
At the moment I've been playing God of War, Ribbit King (addictive as crack), Katamari Damamcy, Whiplash and Gitaroo Man. A co-worker loaned me Ico, Silent Hill 2, a couple of Castlevania games and Devil May Cry. Ico and Devil May Cry are pretty darn .
Is that Little Big Planet game really any good? I may get my sweetie a PS3 for his birthday and that sounds like something I could play as well.

When we get around to getting the new console, I'll have at least one game to check out for sure, then.

I've just given up on Silent Hill which is unusual for me.
The camera had a maddening habit of going haywire just when you needed
it most.
Instead of showing you where you are in relation to the monster what you see is the ceiling, the wall or anything but what you need to see.
Frustrating!
So I've swapped it for Eternal Sonata.

never really been a fan of the silent hill series. i agree with you mistdrong, the camera can be very frustrating. the only saving grace for zombie games for me is dead rising.

I've been playing old games again. Been enjoying a Windows-based remake of Imagine's ancient "Arcadia", also been pottering-around with a freeware racing game called "Generally" which seems to be heavily influenced by the old Amiga game "Super Skidmarks".
I've also had a couple of shots of "Chuckie Apple", a new game based on never-implemented designs for the sequel to "Chuckie Egg". Not sure what I think of it, it has the feel of a work in progress.

Never mind dreaming computer games, it gets really crazy when you've been awake too long and start seeing the world around you in terms of whatever game your playing. I was playing Dark Chronicle a lot a while back, and I think at one point after a night/morning out I found myself actually re-arranging the items in an imaginary items menu at the side of my vision ... with my hands! Lord knows what I must have looked like, taking hold of thin air and moving it up and down.
It's like my friend after three days awake on Dance Dance Revolution: the world looked perfectly normal, except for all the arrows moving upwards in front of it.

Too much Guitar Hero makes everything travel upwards and inwards for a while. It's rather disconcerting cos you feel like you're falling worwards constantly!

Good call! Excellent game. I really enjoyed it and will have to play it again to get even more quests and achievements.
A few years ago I was playing Devil Dice *a lot* and every time I closed my eyes I could see dice dropping.

Interesting point about "seeing" games afterwards.
I had the same experience after playing driving games, if I closed my
eyes I could "see" the road speeding towards me.
Very disconcerting.
Eternal Sonata is graphically very beautiful and I've made my usual
mistake of dashing into the game without reading the instructions.
I thought I was doing well until I came up against some kind of chicks
..GAME OVER...
Ok, so I'll read the booklet now.

i rarely read the manuals before playing the game, im more of a "learn on the job" kinda guy.
but its annoying when your friend comes round and does something on the game you didnt know you can do, and you ask " how the hell did you do that!?" and he says its easy didnt you know that?
