Yes the show featured two glove puppets one, an annoying thing called Zippy becuase it's mouth could be sealed shut with a built-in zipper.
The other was a hippo called George
Geoffrey was a human presenter.

I was slightly surprised when I first heard it then again .. hippo's aren't easily shocked

It has the look to me of a short they did for their own amusement.
I'm pretty sure the show lasted a good 20 minutes to half and hour - certainly not 3 minutes.

It was done for a Christmas type wrap party for the crew and themselves.

The story I had heard was that they were invited to perform for the Queen at some big public do, then produced that, and obviously weren't allowed to show it.
I have no idea of the truth of the matter, it's just something I saw on the goggle-box. Probably one of those '100 somethingist somethings' programmes.
