No fluffy handcuffs here either... they're all metal ones
I don't have your address... and I'm myself at the moment with the cold/flu
I think I still have a rice cooker of my own somewhere..... :-
with the recipie I used for the biriani I cook the rice in with the meat and veg.........
peanut oil.
lots of heat.
Add spices, tumeric, cumin, black pepper, grated ginger, paprica, cardamin pods, finely sliced/diced chilli peppers, until they're relaly* giving off a nice smell
Throw in onions, sliced into strips/diced,
8 minutes.
Add sliced mushrooms, finely sliced garlic,
err some minutses....
ADd lamb small diced bits...
stir fry on v full heat the lam with the veg/spices for a few minutes, then put it on low for err some minutes...
Dash hot indian pepper sauce, dash soyasauce.
Stir, instrease heat, add a bit of butter if its not ... err wet enough... sod it add butter anyhow
Add uncooked basmati rice, stir it to coat the rice in spices/oil/butter/stuff.
Add stock/water enough for the rice, cover so only a little* steam can escape, and put on low... for err, the tricky amount of time.... about 15 minutes
open, stir, turn off heat, repalce lid, find bowl.... wait a few minutes, remove lid... should be nice and fluffy
I blame 2legs for random recipies involving a unique mix of spices which seemed to make me breath a bit better for a while and cleared my sinus a little* I blame 2legs for capsicome

I blame 2legs that he now has 2 determined women trying to get him to fly to California I further blame him that the other one has a bit more self confidence than the original, and thus won't have periodic bouts of "I should just shut up 'cause he's never going to come anyway, and/or I'll just annoy him and everyone else" (probably). If you'd come when we first planned, you wouldn't have to be "reminded"!

I blame 2legs for the giganormous amount of old conversations I've spent the last hours unsubscribing to. This has given me aching legs and neck since I've been doing in bed with my laptop.
So, be a good boy and give me a massage now.

To answer min--probably faint with shock
But seriously--bunk the girls in together, then the 3 of us could discuss who gets Faith's bed and who gets the couch. Make Tom read 2legs' and min's collaborative Entry, and read it to Faith (which I'd do if only one or the other came anyway) and recruit one or both of the other household members old enough to be of help, to do so. Have to walk everywhere or take 2 vehicles, as once Notepad arrives, there's room for the kids' seats in back, the driver, and 1 front passenger in my car, and that's it--which means we could only drive places if Tom was available, too...
But even more seriously, 'tain't likely to happen, since the closest international airport that I know of is a 5 hour drive with no stops, with no public transportation options coming closer than 2 hours away, so dropping in unannounced ain't exactly going to happen! (There is an airport in town, but it would add roughly $400 to the fare to use it.)
I blame 2legs that Crescent City is much harder for non-drivers to get to than Sacramento (where I lived when I first found h2g2/met 2legs) and yet I've had h2g2 visitors here and never there

I blame 2legs for public transport... full stop
I also blame 2legs for it being late... probalby too late for me to have supper and accurately call it supper... its probably closer to breckfast time just about
I also blame 2legs for the book I just finished reading..... the last three chapters shoudl have been extended to four or five, and an extra one added, as it was... it ended too abruptly with too many loose ends

I was* thinking maybe of trying to organise an early London meet, as the winter/autumn one failed so badly... maybe towards end of Jan/Feb time, though I know everyone always complains they're skint after Xmas... so maybe not surh a good idea...
I blame 2legs for the lack of BBC funding of ht emeets
I also blame 2legs for the laundry I have done, the laundry left to do, for the housework I've done and the housework yet to do and for my not being able to decide if I want to try for the pub tonight or not

Not, and put the money you would've spent into a jar or something to save for airfare *seems to remember making a similar suggestion long enough ago that 2legs could've easily made the trip yonks ago*

I blame 2legs for making me want to pee when I was on the mountains this afternoon.
I blame him for making it so cold that I hung on and on,
and then couldn't find what I was looking for because it had shrunk with the cold.
