Finally getting to grips with how to play Protoss (StarCraft) was a fantastic feeling.
My favourite moment is from a face-to-face Diplomacy game, however. During the course of the game I had made some well timed and devestating stabs and severely damaged any trust between me and the surrounding nations.
However, in the last few turns of the game I managed to convince all of them to move forward against the one remaining powerful player, working as a team. One player distrusted me so much that he made me write my moves in front of him and give them to him to submit; I hastily wrote and submitted a second set (which is perfectly legal in the game) which meant that I made a final push and took about half of their combined territories.
I'm trustworth in real life, but in Diplomacy... not so much.

Starship Titanic had some great moments, can't pinpoint them right now because I haven't played it in a while.
The parrot yelling about a bomb drove me crazy though, so I stuffed it into one of those transport thingies. Later I discovered I needed him to solve one of the quests, but I had no idea where he had been transported *to*, so I ended up having to run all over the ship looking for him. Argh!

finding out the huge amount of space to play in in X2 and X3 was pretty cool. X3's graphics help as well and the planets are cool, proper weathers systems and you can burn up in the atmosphere

Annihilating some civilisation that foolishly declares war on you for no reason in Civilization (who'd have guessed I'm a pacifist in real life? )

finally finishing Daggerfall after about 3yrs or something, man that was a big game. Not helped by it crashing all the flippin' time.
Realising that Morrowind was still pretty big but with much better graphics.
Finishing Oblivion (and all the quests) and watching the final cut scene using DX10 in a 42" monitor - way
Writing my first 'pacman' game and playing and completing it.
Lots of creepy moments in System Shock 2.
Playing Alone in The Dark alone in the dark with a decent sound system - yep, I jumped more than once
Realising that for all the wonderful graphics and convoluted game play and blurb for many games I have played, I can still waste an entire afternoon playing Railroad Tycoon 3.

Dinging level 10 in Aion because that's when you get your wings and learn to fly - ah, what a sense of freedom, especially gliding on the air currents in big, swooping circles. Even though one of my characters has almost reached level 30 I *still* enjoy flying and do it as often as possible.
or would that be ?

It is a fun party game... Not for long, but everyone can have a go, even the non-players!

I can get 90-odd % on easy but haven't dared try it on medium. Not sure my poor lil fingers could cope!
Ahhh, getting the wings in Aion is great. Then you find out how much the level 30 ones cost...

I think my brain is about to explode. In the plus side it makes me feel more confident about buying Dragon Age: Origins.
But, dear God, I had to pause that endless stream of speech occasionally just to let my brain have a break. I never before realised how important breaths were in comprehending speech.
