OI REDDY! That's not nice! there's a lot of space around here for questions! And people don't always think that things will be somewhere!
There's a LOT of stuff asked here that could be easily found using a search engine...but people ask!

Though, if I do remember correctly, some edition of the books was in fact named "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" where the old Pan edition calls it "Hitch Hiker's ..."

I think the fact that someone has to ask this question is an encouraging sign that this place is succeeding in one of its aims - not being just a fansite for HHGG.

Sorry, but i AM a fan. Obviously of the edition that reads hitchhiker's guide.
And why would anyone ask what H2G2 stands for, let alone frequently enough to become a FAQ??
