The story currently consists of 14 pictures that will be shown for 5 seconds each, so I need a clip that is at least 70 seconds long.
Extra credit for links to public domain sound clips (although buying a song for US$.99 will work as well).
Thanks for any help you can give.

Not too many suggestions so far then.
How about Cliff's classic "Congratulations"?

How about "Silver Bells" by Diana Ross, I know it's a Christmas song, but it's very appropriate.
Congratulations, by the way

"Loving you" by I think it was minnie ripperton
Love is contagious by Tajah Savelle
or the sweetest thing by U2 are all gentile enough for a sit down meal and are lyrically appropriate too.
congratulations

Given that this is a family do, can I recommend If You Want Blood...You Got It by AC/DC?

How about "Said I loved you, but I lied..."? (Sorry for being negative, but that's just me)

I like the Ode to Joy idea and thanks for the link (although I am generally not a fan of midi files).

Saving any file as a sound file is trivial, if you have the time. I just turn on my sound recording software (I use the Analog Recorder program that comes with Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition), play the file and record it in real time. This works great for streaming media that you cannot otherwise download.

Thanks for the suggestions (to you and everyone else who has responded).
Keep 'em coming and I will post a link to the file when I['ve finished with it (if anyone is interested).
