Welll... smiley - erm .... smiley - erm yes!

But nevertheless it remains an important point, poor Stevie G who so entertained me in the 80s and 90s with some top quality films (Short Circuit is a classic and I dont care what anyone says! smiley - nahnah).

In the naughties he has only been in two or three films.

My mantra is:-

"Lose Lohan Hilton et al and bring back Brilliant Guttenberg"

Whos with me hootoo!!!!!!

well, I'm trying to think what else he was in and all I can come up with is Three Men and a Baby
and I'm not sure about that...

Yep, bring back Steve Guttenberg. The world needs his mastery of the cinematic practical joke. Where would Jim Carey be if Steve hadn't blazed the trail; ploughed the furrow; set up the metaphorical bucket of water over the metaphorical door?

But I agree with him! SG was a beacon in the murk of 1980s cinema. Imagine the first Police Academy without him. Imagine Mannequin *with* him!

Actually, forget the Mannequin thing. Not even Johnny Depp, Kathy Burke and Richard Prior could have made Mannequin any better. Turgid guff was that film. I'm, a-shudder at the recollection.

wash out your mouth!
the Deppster makes _anything_ worth watching... yep, even Mannequin.

Now Richard Prior, there's someone who knocks Steve Guttenberg into a cocked hat.

'firtubate'? Great word but not really what I meant. Fortunate would have been the word that I meant.

Blame it on the bits of WOMAD that are still under my finger nails. West country mud is remarkably resilient.

I think in Empire the other month they were mooting the idea that "Three Men and a Wedding" could be a "threequel" that could really work.

Bring it bang up to date but with loads of knowinfg winks to the orgionals and 80s cinema.

Well come on it *could* work.....

smiley - run

Yeah, it *could* work, but using porridge as wallpaper paste *could* work, doesn't mean it should be tried though.

Mankind should be careful where he treads for the ability to try something doesn't bring the right.

Did you know Leonard Nimoy directed "THree Men and a Baby"?

Christ!

Bloody hell, so he did.smiley - weird

Every time you feel your faith in the One True Nimoy wavering, such as upon hearing of directorial lapses of judgement, just sing a bit of 'Bilbo Baggins' and your faith will be restored.

'Amazon Women on the Moon '

I don't want to know any more about that film for it couldn't possibly live up to the title.

Quality titleage.
