You can visit Kipling's house in Rottingdean, near the posh Roedean school for girls in Brighton.
Brighton has two piers (West Pier and Palace Pier). The West Pier was subjected to an arson attack a few years ago. Many believe the owners of the Palace Pier (now recently renamed Brighton Pier) were behind the attack.
