I have to admit i'm not sure what the score was exactly.......but i know we won I think they got about 130ish with their 20 batspeople and we passed it with a few people still left. Dont worry they still all had a bat

The key is to field first so that your fielders will stay around until they have a chance to bat, rather than wandering off in the general direction of the pub..........

Didn't need it this time, just a bit of luck. Although we split the innings up now ie: half one team bat then half the other team bat... to try and minimise the leakage, not to mention the spillage LOL

Hehehehe! That method would make a four-day match last even longer! They all take far to long to *change ends* as it is LOL

Yes, congratulations. Anything similar here (HK) at the moment would call for hot toddies and heated gloves, but as I remember pub matches it's not just the spectators with the silly hats.

Yes silly hats all round. As captain i felt it was my duty to lead by example with a particularly loud red floral number (think hawiian shirt and you are on the right track)

which obviously gives me a chance to censor them.. LOL

Somewhere in the family archives are pictures of me umpiring a "cricket match" in November at a place called Jestrebia Gora at the landward end of the Hel peninsula in Northern Poland,but although I am unidentifiable beneath the spare furry hats, none of the rest of you get a look at them I'm afraid."Too silly"

I had about 7 hats on at one stage while i was umpiring but i don't know if there was a photo taken.

Not that i need all those hats on to make me look foolish, i can do that by batting, bowling and fielding LOL
