h2g2 is fast approaching the magic number of 5,000,000 posts.
We're at around 4,985,000 now (that leaves 15,000 to go).
I propose a 2 tier competition:
1. Who can guess the closest to when the 5 millionth post will happen?
2. Who can actually make the 5 millionth post?

Oh, I'm not entering the second half. That sort of thing is usually achieved by some sad git who spends hours in the middle of the night posting to himself.

And yes I was the one got the 2,500,000th posting on the evening of 17th October 2002.
My prediction for the time of the 5,000,000th post, based upon careful calculation is that it will be during the afternoon of Thursday 11th March. Probably about 3pm.
