This is an interesting case you may have heard about. A Russian girl who claims to be able diagnose complaints by using x-ray vision.
Any thoughts?

According to the front page of Friday's Manchester Evening News, they had her on ITV's This Morning, and she diagnosed the doctor who is occasionally on the programme as being in the early stages of bowel cancer. It shocked him enough to get a specialists opinion and it turns out she may actually be right.
Whether it's x ray vision or just intuition I wouldn't like to guess.

Hmmm, as far as I heard she gave him a diagnosis for something which was found wrong during a medical test. But he did during the medical test find out he might be suffering from something else.

I suppose the ultimate way to test her would be a as a human pregnancy detector. Then you either have a yes or no answer with no grey.

As Randi keeps pointing out, if they can do this, they *will* win the million dollars. So why don't they take the test?

I think that says a lot about their actual beliefs.
Richard Dawkins mentions comments by a homeopathist (I think) who, when asked why he doesn't do double-blind randomised testing, replied "Well, when we do double-blind tests, it stops working, so we don't do them any more."

There was an article about her on page 3 of Sunday's Observer this week. Not too many new theories were advanced but it made for quite interesting reading nonetheless.
