According to wiktionary and thesaurus.com, the synonym for synonym is "equivalent."

As Phil Plait says in the article I cited, "equivalent" isn't the equivalent of synonym as it isn't specifically about words. It's an approximate, but not a distinct equal to synonym.

Plus, there being no synonym for 'synonym' wouldn't imply that there is none for 'antonym'. ('Opposite'? 'Contrary'?)

For those of us still on the Gingerbread version of Android, if you go into Settings, About Phone and keep tapping on Android/Firmware Version, you'll get a nice surprise...

Having, apparently but quite innocently and unintentionally,
given offense to fords failing to check facts for absolute
uselessness (admittedly a lack of veracity is pretty useless)
please allow me to quote from fords at another thread.

"Give me a USB stick and I'll make one of those for the
price of a double vodka."

Which, if one probes the actual cost of a double vodka
and the peripheral and hidden costs of transport etc,
is quite probably the most useless fact I've seen today.
