and if I'd of been on call my bluff and cockchafer had been the word, I wouldn't of gone for that description either. I always thought it was a name for a person who like to go clubbing in Soho.
Either way, I wouldnt even actually want to know whether one of them could vomit underwater or not.

I think, correct me if i'm wrong, that there are also more rats in the uk than people....
i'm almost positive, with no scientific back up to support my theory, that rats could and have vomited underwear, under water and under pressure..

Baron Grim Posted Dec 20, 2005
Wow Feisor! What a site. That's as definitive an answer to the vomiting question as one could ask for. I never thought I'd be reading the intricate details of why rats can't vomit but there I was... actually interested in it.
I didn't know that vomiting was different than regurgitation either.
Brilliant.
Oh, yeah... I found another useless fact this weekend but I haven't confirmed it yet.... hold on....

Or the wonderful Bugs Bunny with the WWII gremlin on the bomber. I think that's the one where Bugs is falling to his death then pulls out a bottle takes a swig and stops mid air. The bottle was hair tonic, stops falling hares.

Oh, yea.. .I just recently read that a university studied the possibly urban mythical phenomenon of cow tipping. They determined that it is most likely just a myth as it would take a minimum of five very strong men and one very inattentive cow.

pffffft Posted Dec 20, 2005
Cow Tipping? an urban myth? I feel like I need to cry. That was one of my favorite stories I've been told across the years that is, my mates mate who was at university out in the sticks... and I believed it, oh sayitaintso
useless facts
Baron Grim Posted Dec 20, 2005
Well, that's just the thing about that article I read... the study (which didn't actually tip any cows) looked at the physics of it and how reactive a cow is whilst sleeping and made that determination.
But I can definitely imagine 5 or more burly drunken college students sneaking into fields at night and trying it together.
While the study claims that they believe it to be a myth I think they may have just reached the wrong conclusions from their data.
