Is there a God?

Doesn't this all just come down to ...
If you believe there is a God then He exists for you.
If you don't, then it doesn't.
Sorry if I'm being a party-pooper, but those who believe will do so no matter what anyone says. And likewise for those who don't.
Just keep it at home, that's all I ask.
By which I mean there should be a clear dividing line between church and state, as having secular governments is the only way of being fair to everyone.

Well it's true I haven't spoken to you for about 6 months or so benjamin. I've been away. And I haven't bothered reading much backlog here, but I do seem to remember you as a faither.

Me guv? No, if I were forced to back into a corner I'd be firmly in the 'no' camp. I imagine you remember it that way because much of your time spent in this thread involved me arguing with Blicky. I don't disagree with much of what he's said but I do enjoy testing the strength of his arguments, and of others who argue for the position that I basically agree with.
Away? Where? Other websites? I've heard of this 'real world' place. Have you been there? What's it like?

real life? Oh I've re-discovered its not all its cracked up to be. I was offline when at home for a while because I accidently fried my old computer, and had to wait a while to get connected by a cable modem with my new computer, which seems much more reliable. I was very busy with RL work and stuff and got engrossed with setting up a website for something. Plus I really felt I needed a break from this place.
Apologies for thinking you were something you're not.
