There's been a few sunny days here in the UK, and the blossom is rampant. The green of the leaves is so freshly green. I find myself feeling electrified by it all and incredibly happy.
Do you feel similarly?

Cricket. Very pleasant to sit in my office and listen to Essex playing only 50 yards away (though we can nlonger see it due to thte new building development and accompanying trees.
Being able to walk down the pub without a coat/jacket/arctic weatherproofs.

The number of people I meet when out with the beasties. Everyone is much happier and smilier and much more sociable when the weather improves
My husband would say that the pollen is the worst thing about this time of year

I went for a short walk along Cleethorpes promenade yesterday enjoying a whipped ice-cream and admiring the flower beds, which are gorgeous - thankfully I don't suffer hay-fever because I love the heady scent of loads of flowers.
The feeling of the warm sun on you without the need for a coat is truly beautiful and it made me feel glad to be alive.
Fantastic

Being able to walk down the pub without a jacket, and being able to sit in beer garden by the river the sun is nice too in moderation (a paleface like myself can't really handle direct sunlight, not being used to beign exposed to it at night in dingy bars en all)
heat inside the house and humidity can be a bit tiresome, but at least the gas bill should thoretically go down with the heating turned off

The mindless optimism that makes you think life's fantastic when you know full well it's the same load of old cack it always is.

Watching sticky buds appear on bare trees,
burgeonning into infant leaves and slowly, day by day,
growing until the trees are fully-fledged anew.

For me it's the feeling that summer's just around the corner. It's just the energising feel of the sun after I leave after a long day in the suffocating atmosphere of an office and taste the air, like wine, while heading to the car park. It's the expectation of the summer ahead.

The sun can be nice... glad I don't get hayfever anymore but most of all its nice when the little green men with the large umbrellas wonder down the streets all night long with the large fibre optic cables on their hats.

2legs, I'm surprised the boyos with the fibre optics don't make special provision for you on the matter of late night pubs. I'd have a good old barney with them if I were you.
