You been on the or did you mean Picture Book. If you did, yes I remember that one.
Running Jimmy was not a cartoon, it was a childrens series at the end of which the main character, Jimmy, was always running away from something or someone as the cliff hanger to the next episode.
Dixon of Dock Green was mentioned earlier and you probably know it went out "live". Did anyone see the episode when Jack Warner was taken ill whilst trying to speak his lines, and the character who played his son-in-law (someone whose surname was Byrne) had to speak both sets of lines as a sort of question and answer session to get the programme to its conclusion, all the while the producer was stage-whispering at Jack Warner, by now leaning on a doorpost, to see if he was all right. Sounds funny, but was actually quite scary knowing it was "live".
How are you all this evening?

Hi Smurfles, only teasing. Now, a question... I have been able to work out most of the abbreviations but what the heck is lol? I see it so often that I must be an idiot not to be able to work it out, but there you go
Unless you are coming up to retirement, I am not surprised you don't remember Running Jimmy! He rates with the Bumblies, Andy Pandy and Muffin the Mule
How about the version of "The Prince and the Pauper" which was one of the first programmes using a split screen so that the same actor played both parts but could not stray out of the left/right hand side of the screen or he would disappear

I have a vivid memory of Sarah Jessica Parker as a pigtailed girl on the special Hannukah show made in Israel for Sesamee Street. I think she was about 14 at the time, and very nice.

Hey Smurfles.. name...
The only time i watched 'watch with mother' was when my parents got a video of it to show their kids what they grew up with..
I don't think bill and ben had the same effect on me as Bravestar or Transformers..
Still, children are conditioned at a young age nowadays..

Who remembers Vision On? It was a ker-azy programme which included art, crafts, comedy, mime and Wilf Lunn, the extraordinary 'inventor'. The notable regulars were Tony Hart, Pat Keysall, Sylvester McCoy and Wilf.
Not forgetting the speeded up comedy shorts with 'The Prof'.There was nothing like it on the box, and it still stands out as quality children's programming, IMO.
Its a shame not many episodes exist in the BBC archives.

Yep, definitely remember Vision On, but my memory becomes blurred when I try to remember which of Tony Hart's programmes Morph appeared in. I have a signed picture of him (signed by Morph, that is) which holds pride of place to this day.
What about Mork and Mindy
