I can always tell when people are looking at, or even thinking about me. Even when I can't see them, or they're behind me.

This isn't something I notice, more something that I do. I can tense my ears to filter out noise. Can everyone do this? I'd never thought of asking anyone before until now. When there's a loud noise other people cover their ears but I've always been able to tense them and filter most of the noise.

I used to be able to it, but I can't now. Its quite handy like when walking along outside construction sites, or where they're using pneumatic drills.

Well, being a possible Asperger's, what I see is often so fascinating to me that I mention it out loud.
The tag sticking out of the collar, the showing slip, the ladder in the hose, the off-side trimmed mustache, the lipstick that makes the wearer look like they have been messing with plumbing without using their hands...
the large area of randomly placed colored tiles on the front of the dentist's office reception desk. With the amount of effort that the 'craftsmen' went to to place the tiles randomly, they could just as easily formed an entertaining pattern.
As I've gotten older, I've learned to stop and assess whether anyone really cares.
Every other word from the spousal unit is, "So?"
I assess every movie, book, comic and television show in terms of decor, period, cars, weapons and actual scientific or literary content.

I tend to notice people's teeth a lot. My family gets annoyed with me because I can't help making comments about people on tv.
Incidentally, that man on The Salon.............
(yup it's trash tv - but strangely addictive)

Something I tend to notice that others don't is faults in logic, inconsistencies in arguments and so on... God how dull!
I did once notice that a lady colleague was wearing tights that abruptly changed colout at mid=calf. I didn't really know whether to mention it or nor but by the middle of the afternoon could remain silent no longer.....so I asked her if she had rising damp.
The incident passed into office folk-lore!

Echoing earlier posts :-
I notice faint smells, but have got wary of mantioning it to other people, since it seems many people seem so olfactoralily challenged that they would have to feel the heat or see the smoke to realise they were in a burning building.
I also notice streetlights going out, *and* that they seem to do so especially often when I walk under them whilst in a particularly foul mood.

Until an industrial accident when I was sixteen, I could smell almost everything, buildings, trees, grass, planes...
Now I seem to be only able to smell a small range of very strange things.
I can smell a gas leak in the house before everyone else.
I smell carpet cleaning and dry cleaning fluids hours after they are supposed to dissipate. I can smell sick people.

I have to be careful what I touch. I can taste many chemicals after I encounter them, even if I wash my hands immediately.

I'm not allergic to *anything* (as far as I can tell), but I always have found certain chemicals unpleasant.
I always felt somewhat queasy in new cars. It now seems likely I disliked the plasticising chemicals that leached out of automotive plastics in large quantities in their first couple of years.
I also really disliked the smell of gloss paints when I was young. Now it seems the world has caught up, and gloss paints are somewhat friendlier than they used to be.
Ozone from (old, unfiltered) laser printers made my nose twitch and eyes sting long before I found out it was undesirable.

I hope this isn't because of drug abuse in my youth, but I see faces in almost any random pattern. That and I can make things 'pulse' visually with only a little concentration- like a blank wall I can make *breath*. Oh, and I can make *tunnel vision* easily too.
Please don't report me to the brain police!

I play chess with table settings at restaurants and notice misspellings on the menus.
I notice the names of cars and drive my spousal unit with the implications I can make out of them.
I have a horrible habit of being able to find a pun in any innocuous statement.

I'm pretty good at noticing when people are embarassed, awkward, shy or angry - does that count?
