What do you think of your life so far?
The Groob Started conversation Mar 30, 2003
If today were your last day alive, would you say you have been a success or a failure at the game of life?
I think I was losing the game, but now my life is pretty good.

I think I've been successful in some areas but a failure in others - particularly in the parenting department. All I can say is that I tried my best.

"What do you think of your life so far?"
Some good
Some bad.
But it's my life and I'll do what I want with it.

I'm not normally given to quoting DNA or the book, but it's appropriate.
Mostly harmless.

50's- My part was childhood bliss
60's- Not really the 60's, more like the 50's
70's- More like the 60's so I don't remember it which is good.
80's- A little of the 60's but more like the 90's
90's- Where did that go?
00's- Wishing I could remember more of the 60's

I've liked my life so far, so I'd say it is a success. Some moments are positively painful, but I've never wished my life would stop nor that I had someone else's life. But thinking about my life ending today makes me incredibly sad. There is still so much I want to do and so many ways I want to grow. And the thought of not watching my children grow up terrifies me. (But the thought of watrching them grow up scares me too.) Interesting question.

There have been many times inmy life which I really thought that life s***s! but in hindesight, overall my life has been pretty good. I've travelled around the globe, I've been a Hippie, lived on a commune, skydived, had various lovers have three wonderous daughters and have faced many obsticles , medical, emotional and financial. at present I get up each morning wondering what the day will bring. I face each day as it comes and try to live for the moment and dtry not to dwell too much on the future. In short, life is what has been dealt me and I attempt to deal with it the best way I know how. If today was the last day of my life? I would say that i've done my best and will be able to have another go of it in my next life. After all, I firmly believe I've vbeen around for several thousand years and will eventually get it right!

What a fantastic question. As you will perhaps gather, I've just started on my second childhoos. Under the Chinese system I'm less than a month old. See my home space ( U 96784 ) to see what the old life was like: nearly all of it was fun, seasoned with some acute misery, but I don't think there's much to regret.

Looking back on my life, I'd say I've made a success of it. When bad things have happened, I've always tried to pick myself up and learn whatever I could from those experiences. Although I've had some major hurt and sadness, I think that overall, the good things far outweigh the bad. I know I'd be remembered as a kind person, a good friend, and someone who laughed a lot and enjoyed life even when the chips were down. While my life hasn't quite taken the course I'd imagined it would, I've no regrets at all and wouldn't change a thing, and I've bright hopes for the future.

As for what I think<?> I honestly think that I should have been born at least ten years before I was! I missed all the good music! I guess life's been good to me, and things can only get better.

I'd agree with that... I think I should have been born in the late 50's... I might ahve been able to see a few of the groups live that I like then...

I am still waiting for a paranoid response to the question:
