Radio 3.
They have a great eclectic mix of music - classica, jazz, blues, opera, rock, folk, avant-garde, all sorts.
Plus they are the only station, BBC or independent, which plays anything approaching the sort of music I like.

BBC Radio 4 Very occasionally pop by Radio 3, and it does do some good stuff (First time I heard Steve Reich was on Radio 3 ) but not enough for me to go to it more than twice a year or so Until later....

BBC 4 from 06:00 until 09:00 then I've heard enough about the tragedies in the world.
09:00-18:00 Music from my collection (I could kiss the person who invented MP3's)
18:00 until I fall asleep BBC7 - it's the only thing worth having a Sky box for

Radio 2, chiefly for the fairly juvenille reason that the presenters seem to get away with saying the sort of things throughout the day that would have Mary Whitehouse spinning in her grave. Why on Earth there isn't some sort of outcry from the NVLA I have no idea. They also play a damn fine mix of music. I do also listen to Radio 4 in the evenings.

It's not just Jonathan Ross though, I mean, Sarah Kennedy and Terry Wogan both go close to the bone, and their both on early morning slots . Maybe Auntie Beeb thinks no-one listens to the radio anymore, or maybe no-one important at the Beed listens to Radio 2

6 Music has been a godsend for all those of us worried that we were about to be sucked into Radio 2 for lack of anything better, now that they have ditched Jimmy Young and got into Led Zeppelin. I can't think of anything worse than being a R2 listener, so to have a station that plays good classics and new stuff without the irritating idiocy that plagues Radio 1 is just brilliant.

Kerr- everything you say about Radio 2 is true! If only we could shoot Steve Wright it truly would be a wonderful station.

i usually listen to it on a sunday morning(don maclean, steve wright), as im reading the sunday papers.
my alarm clock/radio is tuned to beacon fm, only because i cant find any other station without the shash noises. but i dont use the alarm very often.
