You've got exams, that's far more important 
. I've almost finished mine now, so will be able to catch up with all the edtiting again.
The NES is coming up to 20 000 words now, so it's going very well. We just thought we'd mention that we intend to start another story, in case anybody else wanted to join in. Due to the length of the NES, it is very hard for anyone to join in that story now, without casuing a lot of contridictions, and they take me a lot of editing to erradicate.

It's huge - I mean like once I've finished editing and put in all those footnotes it'll be about 40 pages long. We have written a lot over these last few weeks

Writing the book on h2g2 won't be a problem. As we said months ago in this thread, they only have non-exclusive rights to the material.
And I'm sure that if we complete it, they'll have no problem releasing all their rights. Well, maybe not, but we can always hope.

I could even put up the NES somewhere, just in case anyone who isn't on my list of people to email it to wants to read it - would take up quite a few entries, but could start a new one for each chapter. Each chapter is about 6 pages long though - so even that's quite big. What do you think?

Actually, I think you could.. If someoe wouldn't mind taking a couple of chapters and putting in the GuideML codes to turn them into entries that would be very helpful. I can't do anything until Thursday, as I haven't finished my exams just yet... Most of chapter one and the introduction is already up (on the mental meanderings page). Finishing chapter 1 off won't take me very long, but if someone could sort chapter 2 that would be very useful. Chapter three needs splitting, so isn't ready yet. Where the other chapters begin and end isn't quite clear cut either. As Flake will know, the whole business with the hippophant went on for quite some time...

If the msn group still exists.....nobody has posted for a while (used emails and h2g2 instead), and they get deleted if not used.
