I don't think I'd like a sudden change in my body shape at 40. Well, maybe just one....

Reality Manipulator Posted Mar 11, 2003
I doubt very much that they will change as they have stayed the same size since I was 13 and I am nearly 40 now. I will be 40 in July. You and your friend's breast size got bigger at the age of 24 but I am alot older and they have always stayed the same size.

I go with whoever said don't worry about it... if any male creature cares that much about your breasts, they're not worth it. If it's a big deal for you - just remember you aren't your chest. I would do a LOT of stuff to have a smaller chest, and I'm a 40C/38D (depends on the day) - I would kill to be your size.
Bigger is a pain. I promise you.

I was always a 36B and then I went on the pill and went up to a 36C and I have to say I preferred them as a B. But maybe I'm just a bit but my boyfriend at the time of the change didn't really have a preference either way, so I guess it goes to show that not all blokes are obsessed by size.

I am on a contraceptive jab but it has not changed the size of my breasts.

Depends on what you use, I guess. My wife's started blossoming after she started something called Yasmin. She'd been on other things before with no breastial effects.

I think it does definitely depend on what you're on. I also found that I put on about 1/2 a stone when I went on the pill so that translated to bigger breasts as well.

What is the obsession men have with larger breasts? I have never found women with large breasts to be more attractive. I find nothing wrong with them though. Usually smaller breasts are a sign of a more active lifestyle and therefore someone more fit. That is a bit of an assumption on my part, but it's often true. It's all in what you find sexually appealing, and that varies from person to person.
As far as bras go, it's like anything else. A woman should decide for herself and not depend on what other people think. Would you rather be comfortable and unattractive to a few people or vice versa?

I have great breasts, and it's not because of the size of them, it's just because I have learnt to love my body shape. There is no one *perfect* body that every single man in the world loves!!!! It all depends on their taste in women.
Oh and I like bras too.

If you have now measured properly and they are coming out at 34D then you can no way be described as flat chested. The D is the cup size and is worked out somehow by the difference between measuring just under your chest and then again around the biggest part of your chest. So the bigger the difference, the bigger the cup size. If you do look flat chested then you can't have measured correctly. If you do come out as your original B then once again - you are not flat chested. Perhaps images in the Sun or similar are distorting ideas of what is typical.

Even I would prefer to wear a bra most days, and I'm only a 34a. (I think). It's just simply more comfortable. Occasionally I don't bother, but at my size I think I can afford to. Maybe it's just habit and security. I do feel a littel naked without it, despite what I may be wearing. And, of course, some fabrics can chafe.

Makes for interesting mental pics, though. All males who post here should list height, weight, and body type to make it even!

Hm...
I think bras are necessary, especially when you do a lot of sports.
Even swimming costume should have the 'bra' area padded - because as you plung into cold water your nipples contracts and they REALLY show throught the swimming costume . I found it highly embarassing in the swimming pool...
And then when you go running...I don't know but the running club I am in tends to have more men than women (nearly twice as many!) and to be frank of course they will automatically look there when you are chatting to them during the run, etc. And runners then to wear really filmsy tops to run(I do - breathable material? Lycra...) so for decency's sake...especially when you do road running...
Now you HAVE to in races - especially for those who are in the first thirds/who have people from their clubs waiting for them to arrive...EVERYONE is watching you at the 'FININSH' line as you desperately trying to muster all your might to sprint the last 300 metres or so...
And then in the gym - once when I was in my aerobic class my bra clips kept undoing themselves - it was awful! (you might be able to imagine...)
Then biking. I suppose it is not so bad then...
Besides, the creation of bras created jobs and an industry...!
I have met many who has a obession with bras - they buy/collect varieties of them as if they are that 'necessary'...
Well. I don't know how in the pre-bras/corsets era how they copied then.
Actually who invented bras?

At the end of the day its the real person that counts. But when you finally meet that real person most men , me included, would rather the cup size was nearer D than A. Sorry but thats the way things are.
I am sure you smaller ladies are fine people, partners, friends, wives, mothers and lovers
