Very carefully-chosen, almost prescient music in the car as well - 'Shoulda Woulda Coulda' by Beverley Knight.

Can anybody tell me what happened in the first half hour or so, if it was relevant?
How did Pete and Jo make up after last week? And at what point did Karen find out about David seeing his lawyer?
Thanks! (Was so annoyed I missed it, but I saw the second half - )

I thought the nasty bit was after wards when he tells them she hasn;t pulled through they stand there consoling their partners (or kinda ex partner) whilst he's left there with no one. Some friends, huh?

I have to admit - as she got strapped onto the back board I also said "Well that'll stop her whining" , didn't stop me crying for the rest of it though.

Adam suggested that he cook her a meal, which he did, and just when he was getting it ready, she turned up with a Chinese...
> And at what point did Karen find out about David seeing his lawyer?
She saw them having a canoodle outside the lawyer's office...

Don't forget, that was after Jo had some drunken nookie with Ramona's boyfriend (tut tut).
Yes, the build up made it predictable, but at least it was realistic, being human & doing something daft. So many soap write outs are too drmatic or implausible. I thought it was all done very cleverly for maximum . I was certainly .

I missed the first hour (house mates wanted to watch silly SAS thing on channel 2) can anyone give me a summery of what I missed please.
I can't believe the ending though, I really thought she would pull through . I hope next weeks isn't too upsetting.
