I look at least 10 years younger than I really am. Ask any of my friends, LOL. My hair is going a bit thin now,I intend to have a very close crop haircut this summer, maybe a "Grant Mitchell".

Hmm. It's a strange one. Sometimes I feel younger than I am, wanting to hide away, not wanting to have to pretened to be grown up. But then, in comparison to the others around me I feel a few years older (either I match peoples ages (I tend to make friends wih people onlder that me) or I get a little tired of the behaviour of (some of) my peers).

That was a lesson in the over-usage of parenthesis in itself. smiley - smiley

I was always one of the ones that looked a lot younger at school- always getting asked for ID when we went out and so on. But it's weird- ever since I went travelling in Asia for a couple of months in 2000, people have presumed I'm older. I swear it does date back to that, as little sense as it makes.
I'm going to turn 22 in June, but I feel about 35 most of the time.

if I didn't know my age and had to guess, based on other people's reactions, I would think I was a lot older than I am.

I used to look a quite young, but that all changed this summer. People started calling me 'madame' and thought I was older than my sister, who's actually 4 years older than me! smiley - yikes
One woman at uni initially wouldn't give me my library card, because she thought I was somebody else. I didn't look enough like the 6-month-old picture on the card!

I wouldn't mind looking 'old' if there was a real physical reason for it, but the only thing different about me is a short haircut and some brown hair dye. I'm starting to think people don't look each other in the eyes enough; then they would see I feel more like a 16-year-old with some 20-year-old thoughts (which makes a nice average age of 18) than like the 26-year-old they see in me. smiley - smiley
