I’m not quite sure how it happened. I think I’d managed to get a lot of garlic in the butter when I’d made garlic bread earlier in the week.
The certainly tasted interesting. Not a combination to try!!

I'm assured by my other half that mushy peas are the work of the devil, but I think they're great with fish and chips.
They also go really well with hot pork pie, and lots of mint sauce.

My sister made some bread with curry powder in during a school Home Economics (i.e. housekeeping) lesson. It was actually very pleasant, although I haven't had a chance to try it again.

By now I could say some interesting things about very, very strange food from Iceland... I'll leave for ismarah in case she's showing up again, which I hope really much!... but there are things like ram's testicles conserved in whey, then cut to slices and fried... *and I love it!*
Could tell more, but I will do it only on request...

When I was little I once (JUST the once) had dark chocolate spread with scrambled eggs.
And sugar on peas!

Cheese and jam is fantastic - best jam to use is rasberry or blackberry
Strong cheese (v mature cheddar or stilton) with christmas cake - truly yummy
scottish oatcakes with butter and honey
Deep fried camambert or brie with redcurrant jelly
