I wasnt surprised to find that Im unique, you'd have quite different results just going by my surname (Lee) or the search was done in China...

Same here. If the search was in Poland i would be as common as Smith.
But it wasn't so

With this kind of information, I feel that I am, at last able to sleep at night safe in the knowledge that there can be only one.

There are 4 of me's, if I took hubby's surname there would only be 2 which is odd as I've got a very unusual surname (6 consonants 1 vowel) and hubby's is just a bad spelling of a common name. Maybe it's because I come from a good catholic (and very productive) family (my dad is one of 9, and all but 2 of them have kids).

I just checked and there are 3 of my man and none of my daughter.

My man's father has the same name but as we all live in Australia he shouldn't be counted but you never know he is English.

I'm distressed -- family history has it that my dad's people are from England, albeit about 200+ years ago. Yet there's only 36 with that surname.

Actually, once I went down to the police station to get a security clearance to do volunteer work at a local youth shelter. The proceedure involved filling out a questionaire and leaving it for a while and then coming back in person to pick up the clearance. So, I go into the station on the appropriate day and it turns out that there's a guy with the same name (including middle name) born on the same day who has a Canada-wide warrant out on him. The cop starts checking my fingerprints with a jeweller's loup and gets to the fourth finger before he lets me go!

Woo-hoo. found myself. had to mis-spell my surname though.
