The Groob

Rag and bone men.

Used to get at least one in my street once a week. Now it's a rarity.

Some of those 5 1/4" discs are in my boxroom (some blank, some with shareware & stuff on). Together with a dismantled AT (286), 3 dot-matrix printers (1 with exploded printhead), 2 AT ketboards, spare floppy drives etc. (Well, I did only manage to upgrade from it 2 years ago!)

Any chance of giving the stuff to someone who'll be in County Donegal?

Bubble gum cigarettes that puffed flour or dust or something when you blew in them.
Cool prizes in the cereal box.
In the US, small sized items at fast food joints ... it's large and extra large and super size and biggie ... even Starbucks doesn't sell the small size anymore.

i still have one spangle. its got to be about 30 years old now.

it was a joke christmas present from a very close uncle.
he put one in an old small jewellery presentation box and coveered it with some plastic.

he said that it was all i deserved, but there were lots of other goodies that he had hidden.

when you are that age though, you believe everything they say..
ive never forgotten this and the spangle is on still display on a wall unit.
