What's on your bedside table?

Well, they're a pair of socks I quite like, and you never know where the other one might turn up.

Hmm. I don't have a bedside table, I'll just write down the things I can reach whilst still in bed. (ah, bed, what a nice thought...)
Cream for dry skin. What a blessing.
My hairbrush.
Water bottles-mostly empty.
Random bits of paper, containing random scribblings of whatever I was last working on. Has been composition recently.
That's about it. Although my whiskey is within reach, I haven't even opened it yet. How's that for self control??

Lamp, final part of Simon Scharma history books which I am reading, latest Iain Banks and Ian Rankin novels, radio alarm clock set to classic fm. Aphone of course. And my work mobile as I am sometimes in demand from on high. In bedside cabinet are complete shakespeare works, some very precious personal photos of my wife and family. And a bible which we received as a wedding present. A pad and a pen where I write down any messages which seem important. No booze, water or food. Surprising for anyone who knows me a bit.

Dragon lamp
Two asthma puffers
2 alarm clocks
Mobile phone + charging cord
Photo of my two best friends
Photo of me as a 5 year old (Therapy reasons)
Three cards friends gave me for no reason at all
Dust
A Haematite necklace and three crystals
A nice piece of material to keep all that off the wood.

got a head board with shelves:
letter sorter with appliance manuals, family birth certificates, shot records, graduation diplomas, some old 45s.
A Genus edition Trivial Pursuit in it's box that I put my glasses on at night.
spare bulbs for the headboard lamps.
An ancient GE kitchen radio, the tube type, that is not plugged in, I just like how it looks.
Kleenexes.

Foremost in my brain, a great deal of dust! Several books which I'm reading at the same time, some earings, hand cream a channel commander and a constant recycled glass of water, chocolate and a lamp to enable me to view all of these things when it's dark!

Mine is not really a table but a set of shelves with open sides, originally intended (by Argos) to be a shoe rack, but fits perfectly in the space.
top shelf - a lamp, a bottle of water, a coaster, a bookshelf (it's a free standing single shelf one which is made from 3 poles and 2 sides with 3 holes cut in and is good as a surplus for books which won't fit in the other bookshelves)
second shelf - alarm clock, specs when asleep, box of tissues, packet of batteries, box of hair bands and the like, four way block and hair dryer
third shelf - box of random stuff (box for random stuff really, looking in it, it has things like a silver whistle, three compasses, bulldog clips, 3d ladybird stickers, white label tags, bright red nail polish [for labelling plates for camp]...), large box of things like triangular bandages, sun cream and the like - second aid rather than first aid
fourth shelf - glasses cases, toiletry items for trips (washbags, small plastic bottles for decanting shampoo and the like, toothbrush holder, travel soap dish, unbreakable mirror, drawstring bags [my trips often involve camping with hordes of Guides A499250])
fifth shelf - box of pantyliners and the like. My hot water bottle would be there if it were summer, but at the moment is lying on the floor having been kicked out of bed in the middle of the night.
