Mock the Week is brilliant but one of my PHs are Milton thingy and Sarah Millican... they're terrible.
Proper PH of the day is Twitter and doing the papers for tomorrow morning. Argh argh argh. Also, not having a job yet. But I can't just walk into a paper, can I?

another Coffee Incident.
Ensure the pot is empty, rinsed out and ready to go.
Jug (kettle) hot.
Two measures (peaked) into the pot.
Wait for Ms Stress's shower to come to an end.

Ensure the pot is empty, rinsed out and ready to go.
... Dammit !

Toasters. The way they're constructed. If you want to pick them up with one (small, normal woman's) hand, you have to pinch the bit between the two toasting slots. This is surely detrimental to the toaster and can also be downright unsafe if the plug is still plugged in. Why can't they put a handle on them?

Atticus Posted Jul 4, 2012
Rather than having a toaster that needs to be moved, how about one that projects toast (more or less) to where you want it? Would that solve the problem?
PH for the day: people who dump stuff wherever they want. I saw a urine stained mattress left on a pavement recently. I also sometimes see things like vacuum cleaners and carpets left in lanes etc. Dropping ordinary litter is a bad enough habit but dumping larger items is very anti social.

Perhaps TC is as OCD as me and can't abide appliances on a kitchen counter. I only have my microvave on mine, no toaster, kettle, knife blocks, chopping boards etc. They all live in a cupboard underneath the counter - tbh, I don't use them very often.
My PH is cluttered kitchens!

Rod Posted Jul 4, 2012
Cluttered kitchens, Deakie? You should see my workshop, it's even getting to me - and that doesn't happen often.

You can call me TC Posted Jul 4, 2012
That's it exactly, Deakie. And I wipe it down before I put it away.
I've got a real live version of that PP

Rod, we can't even step into Hubby's workshop at the moment - house renovations have created huge amounts of 'useful' bits of wood, bricks, bags of cement etc...
I suppose they'll be 'useful' when I get fed up of the mess and bury Hubby under the new patio!

Im OCD in the kitchen too, dont remember when it started, girlfrind 's at me.
I can't like wise do with cluttered worktops and as for those crumbs that try and hide under the toaster
My mum, no longer here bless her, used to say that all that attention to cleaning and polishing was my way of trying to erase my past's. There again ,cant remember that too

*punches fist in the air* YESSS! Now you know what it's like for us! 90% of the youtube videos people link to are blocked for us here in Germany!
Anyway, I've got the DVD and love Black Books. You may have guessed that it's the scene where Manny (Bill Bailey) is sitting in the bath with the toaster, hairdryer, radio etc and makes a jam and toast sandwich and puts it on a telescopic arm and it shoots out into the hall just in time....

I gave up on You tube, had a very good selection of old and current music and film. Then they started prating around saying this and that no longer available.
Doubt if I can remember or want to remember my sign on details now.
